Mason Sargent AKA Alley Dog
Co-Founder & Co-Owner of Sargent AdventuresMason is the co-owner of Sargent Adventures and one of the main people helping build and shape the trails at Mariposa. His passion for the outdoors, adventure, fitness, and community is what inspired the Sunday Morning Trail Run/Workout Meetups and much of the vision behind the property.
Mason is heavily involved in trail running and recently placed 3rd overall in a 50-mile ultra marathon at Lake Meredith. He loves helping people challenge themselves, enjoy nature, and build confidence outdoors no matter their experience level.
Many of the trails at Mariposa were hand-built by Mason with help from volunteers who share the same passion for outdoor recreation and community connection.
Whether you’re a beginner wanting to get moving or an experienced runner looking for community, the goal is simple:
Get outside, move your body, and enjoy the adventure. 🦋

What are Mariposa business hours?
Trail access is available during business hours. Summer hours are generally 7 AM – 9 PM. Fall and winter hours may shorten due to earlier sunsets and limited trail lighting. -
Absolutely! Members can upgrade or change membership levels at any time based on availability and current pricing.

Yes! As Mariposa continues to grow, Sargent Adventures plans to add additional outdoor programs, community events, workshops, and recreational opportunities throughout the year.
